SHUTTLE SERVICE will be available this year from the Bel-Air Plaza parking lot to Fall’in Baconfest!! Tentative hours for the shuttle are Friday 4:45 pm till 10:30 pm and Saturday 11:00 am to 10:30 pm.


If you love the smell and taste of bacon, you will love Fall’in Baconfest.  The 4th annual Fall’in Baconfest, Sponsored by the Richland Fire Department and Geistown Borough will be held on September 13th And 14th at the Geistown Fire Station located at 631Lamberd Avenue. 

The event begins Friday September 13th from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.   Come out and enjoy music by “The Dead Irish Blues” from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.  Food trucks featuring various bacon related items and a variety of other food items will be there along with adult beverages to purchase on both days of the event.  Also, the “Street Survivors” will be bringing their cars to be displayed from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Family Video parking lot located on Lamberd Avenue.    

Saturday’s events are scheduled from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.  A craft and vendor fair will be held in the grass area from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.  Children’s activities will be available by Hogue’s Fun Factory on both days.  There will also be a pumpkin carving demonstration.  Enjoy music by “Tom Katz” from 1:00 p.m. to 4 p.m. and “Even the Odds” from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.  The highlight of Fall’in Baconfest every year is the bacon eating contest.  It will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. 

 Fall’in Baconfest is a wonderful community event to reconnect with friends and neighbors.  We hope to see you there. 

Vendors are still being accepted for the 2019 Fall’ in Baconfest on Saturday September 14th. Spaces are available for $25.00. This is an outdoor event. If interested, contact Kim Mock at
