Borough Information Portal - Highland Park


    Highland Regional Park (HRP) is a large multi-acre recreational area with its entrance located at the intersection of Walters and Nees Avenues. This a joint facility governed by a commission made up of elected officials (3 each) from Geistown Borough, Stoneycreek and Richland Townships.

   The park has two baseball fields, on softball field, one soccer field, a combination football/soccer field, a BMX track, playground, basketball and tennis courts. In addition, there is a nature trail, plenty of parking and four large covered pavilions, one of which is handicap accessible. The use of metal detectors at the park is prohibited.

   The park has received a sizable grant from DCNR through the efforts of Rep. Edward Wojnaroski. Improvements are being planned that will make HRP even more attractive for sue by the public.
