Borough Information Portal - East Hills Recreation

The East Hills Recreation Commission is a nonprofit community organization developed to provide recreational and educational activities through a cooperative effort between Richland Township, the Richland School District, and the Borough of Geistown. East Hills Recreation is managed by a nine-member commission which meets on the third Wednesday of each month at 7 p.m.

The Mission of East Hills Recreation is to establish and maintain a recreational and educational program that preserves, develops, and enhances the lives of all community members. The Recreational Commission provides both youth and adult activities year round. Programming Booklets are sent to all residents on a quarterly basis.

Summer playgrounds and programs, staffed by area youth, are held at local sites, including Luray Avenue, Euclid Avenue, Arbutus Avenue, Mine 37, Highland Meadows, Boise Street, and the Richland Elementary School.
