Address Numbers

Since the inception of the Cambria County 911 system, all residences within the Borough are required (by Cambria County ordinance) to display house numbers in accordance with the following guidelines.

Street numbers shall not be less than three inches in height and shall be made of a durable and clearly visible material.
The numbers shall be conspicuously space on, above, or at the side of the main entrance so that the number is distinguishable and legible from the street.
A second set of numbers must be placed on a mailbox or other suitable post, or mounted at the edge of the intersection of the driveway and street.

Other regulations apply to commercial and industrial structures. A copy of the Cambria County ordinance setting these guidelines is available at the Borough Office.
